The Focus Events division has carried out the design and technical production of light and scenography, as well as the artistic design of the XVI edition of the Gaudí Awards organized by the Academy of Catalan Cinema, which took place last Sunday the 4th of February at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB).
The gala, with approximately 1,400 guests, was presented and written by Maria Rovira and Ana Polo, and directed by Oriol Faura. All of it presented as a tribute to the figure of the spectator, the central protagonist of a space that represents timelessness and universality in a scenography created by Sebastià Brosa. The interventions of the presenters and the moments of the awardees are articulated through very emotional musical moments – designed by Daniel Anglès, and artistically coordinated by Àgata Casanovas -, and audiovisual pieces, produced by Focus Tv & Films. Also note the triumph of two performers that we can currently enjoy in the theaters of the Focus Group: David Verdaguer, who won the Gaudí Award for Best Leading Actor, is currently on the bill at La Villarroel with Elling, and Clara Segura, Gaudí Award for Best Cast Actress, has back at the Teatre Goya with one of last season’s hits, La Trena.
Regarding the audience, it had a share of 14.8% and 210 thousand viewers, similar to last year.
Once again, the success of teamwork at the service of the most prestigious events.
