This February, the Barcelona billboard will be nourished by two new productions that promise to delight theater fans.
On January 27, La Villarroel Elling arrives, a tender comedy about friendship and the struggle to have a decent life. The play, a production of La Villarroel, stars David Verdaguer, Albert Prat, Albert Ribalta, Queralt Casasayas and Òscar Muñoz, and is directed by Pau Carrió.
On February 22, Teatre Romea will host one of the theatrical events of the season: the return of Josep Maria Flotats to the Catalan stage. La Disputa. Voltaire/Rousseau, a work written by J.M. Prévand and directed and adapted by Josep Maria Flotats, stars Josep Maria Flotats and Pep Planas. La Disputa. Voltaire/Rousseau stages a major battle between two of the most important philosophers of the 18th century, which is sure to delight city audiences.
