The Technical Services department of the Focus Group has taken over the technical management of this year’s Desvarío Festival, which, among other spaces, took place in the courtyard of the headquarters of the District of Nou Barris, which has become a stage dedicated to flamenco to present a festival born in the year 2000.
Desvarío is the heir to the Flamenco festival in Nou Barris, born at the initiative of the Municipal District of Nou Barris. Currently, El Dorado S. F. B., in collaboration with the Technical Services of the Nou Barris District, has taken over the direction and management of the new festival. El Dorado is a cultural association that was born in 2007 with the aim of creating a stable space for the promotion and dissemination of flamenco culture in Barcelona from the understanding of flamenco as a modern popular art.
This year’s edition, which took place between July 18 and 20, had the participation of artists such as Chano Domínguez, Antonio El Turry or Manuel Moreno ‘El Pele’, among others.
