Josep Maria Flotats returns to the theatre listings of the Catalan capital with Voltaire/Rousseau. La disputa after selling out all performances last season, which marked the legendary actor’s return to Barcelona after years away from Catalan stages.
The play, written by French author Jean-François Prévand, presents a dialectical confrontation between two of the leading philosophers of the 18th century.
In Voltaire/Rousseau. La disputa, Flotats shares the stage with Pep Planas in a production that critics have described as an intense, vibrant, fierce, and entertaining dialogue.
The play will run at Teatre Romea until January 26.
