On Monday, April 28, the Fundació Romea presents Sessió contínua de cultura, cinema i olfacte at the Teatre Romea in Barcelona—an event that invites audiences to explore the connections between cities, senses, and artistic creation.
At 6:00 p.m., a new edition of 618 Talks: La relació Barcelona-Madrid vista des del món del cinema (i del teatre) will take place, featuring David Verdaguer, David Trueba, and Rosa Badia. This conversation is part of the 618 Talks series, inspired by the 618 kilometers that separate Barcelona and Madrid. It offers a space for reflection on how artists, creators, thinkers, and cultural managers help weave networks between cities through their projects, thereby boosting their collective potential.
Following that, at 7:30 p.m., A la recerca del perfum del Teatre Romea, with Alejandro Acosta and Aida Guardia, offers a unique and immersive experience. Starting from a piece of clothing found in one of the theatre’s old wardrobes—hidden since its last performance—its scent will be recreated. A stage piece that awakens the senses and focuses on smell, the most primitive and evocative of them all.
