Following the critical and audiences success at Madrid’s Teatro de la Abadía, where it sold out all the tickets, El cuarto de atrás continues its national tour, finally arriving in Catalonia. Sant Cugat del Vallès (April 11) and Roses (May 10) will be the first Catalan cities to host this show, which has already been seen by audiences in Salamanca, Zamora, Granada, and Bilbao, among other cities.
El cuarto de atrás is directed by Rakel Camacho, who transforms Carmen Martín Gaite’s novel into a sensorial experience. Live music, a lighting design that creates an unreal atmosphere, and excellent performances by Emma Suárez, Alberto Iglesias, and Nora Hernández make El cuarto de atrás one of the season’s biggest hits. A success that will come to Barcelona next summer.
