Last Saturday, October 12, functions began at La Villarroel Un matrimoni de Boston, a play by David Mamet directed by Josep Maria Mestres and starring Emma Vilarasau, Marta Marco and Emma Arquillué and since then it has sold out the locations in all and each of the functions.
The play is a rabidly contemporary “Victorian” comedy of love and power that explores social norms through an unconventional couple with intelligence and biting humor.
The work, which has aroused the enthusiasm of the public, has also received unanimous acclaim from the critics, who have highlighted both the direction of Josep Maria Mestres and the work of the three actresses.
