Last Monday, June 10, the Teatre Romea hosted the La relació Barcelona-Madrid vista des del món del teatre, a conversation between Natalia Álvarez Simó (artistic director of the Centro Cultural Conde Duque de Madrid) and Carme Portaceli (artistic director of the TNC – National Theater of Catalonia) led by journalist Justo Barranco.
The event served to start a new cycle of Àfora, called 618 Talks. 618 are the kilometers that connect Barcelona and Madrid. Through this cycle of conversations, we want to show how, from the world of culture (artists, creators, thinkers, intellectuals, managers, politicians…) they contribute, through their projects, works and activities, to building city and to generate alliances between cities to improve their potential.
